What to expect in the auto loan process

We strive to make the financing process as easy as possible. Here’s what you can expect when applying for an auto loan with SECU.

  1. Before you start, make sure to unfreeze your credit.
  2. Apply online in about 10 minutes with the following information on hand:
    1. The amount you would like to borrow
    2. Social Security number
    3. Employer information
    4. Income information (all sources)
  3. We’ll send you an email with the loan decision.
  4. If approved, a loan processer will call you within 24 business hours to discuss the loan. You can reach us at 443-517-5884 or secuconsumerloanprocessing@cuopscenter.org if you have additional questions.
  5. Your loan is valid for up to 60 days from the submission date. After that, you’ll need to reapply.
