Accidental death & dismemberment insurance
SECU members can get $1,000 no-cost coverage
For members age 18 and older, you get $1,000 of no-cost accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage paid for by SECU. This includes:
- Pre-authorized for up to $300,000 in additional coverage
- No doctor visits, health questions, or lab tests required
- You can’t be turned down due to age or health
Activate this important accidental death and dismemberment insurance now (underwritten by Minnesota Life Insurance Company — all coverage reduced by 50% at age 70, regardless of age at enrollment). Make sure your family has financial help when you’re no longer with them.

Hospital Accident Plan
Collect daily cash benefits of up to $1,800
With this Hospital Accident Plan member benefit*, when a covered accident lands you in the hospital, you can receive the following cash benefits:
- $1,800 a day Intensive Care Confinement
- $900 a day Hospital Confinement
- $450 per accident Emergency Room Treatment
All cash benefits are paid directly to you, in addition to any other insurance you may have — all yours to spend any way you want.
