Meet the Manager
Sebastian Perez has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to that, he served in the military. He joined SECU in 2020 as the Cluster Lead for the Silver Spring and Shady Grove financial centers. He was accepted into the 2022 Leadership Montgomery County program.
When he isn’t working, he likes to travel and explore the world. He also enjoys extreme sports including sky diving.
Meet the Mortgage Loan Officer
Steve Kanaras has over 20 years of experience in the home finance and banking industry. He joined SECU in 2021. He has helped hundreds of people finance their homes and works hard to make the stressful process of buying a home easier and more enjoyable. He has the knowledge, experience, and skill to find the right solution for members’ home financing needs. Steve specializes in first time homebuyer programs, jumbo mortgages, and investment properties. His primary location is in Montgomery County and the District of Columbia.
Originally from New England, he has lived in Maryland for eight years.
