Youth Financial Programs
Building foundational financial wellness skills
Strong financial habits begin early. The SECU MD Foundation partners with educators, schools, and youth-serving programs across Maryland to deliver interactive financial education experiences tailored to young learners. By building confidence early, we help set the stage for lifelong financial wellness.
The SECU MD Foundation FinStart program introduces elementary students in grades 3–6 to the foundational money concepts of earning, saving, spending, and making thoughtful financial decisions. We deliver these concepts in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with classroom learning goals.
