Since we announced the 2025 SECU MD Foundation scholarship winners in early July, we’ve anticipated presenting these 12 amazing scholars with their awards.
We finally had that opportunity during a ceremony on July 22nd at our Greenbelt financial center. There, the SECU MD Foundation awarded each student with a $10,000 scholarship.
This year’s winners, who recently graduated from six different community colleges and are transferring to a four-year University System of Maryland school, represent the best of our community: driven, determined, hungry, sharp, smart, excited, savvy, and humble. They’ve set a course with their lives to become the next generation of leaders.
We’re grateful to be part of their journeys. Helping Marylanders achieve their educational goals is part of our mission, and a core function of the SECU MD Foundation. In fact, the Foundation has given over $1.1M in scholarships so far to worthy students looking to pursue their educational dreams.
