How to Become a Member
Many individuals who are affiliated with Frostburg State University automatically have access to a SECU membership. Please follow the steps below to see if you qualify, and if not, please check out this list for other ways you may be eligible.

Confirm eligibility
Thanks to our partnership with FSU, current students, faculty, staff, and alumni are all eligible for SECU membership. If that doesn’t sound like you, not to worry. Here are other ways to qualify.
STEP 2:
Choose your account
As part of the process, you’ll need to select the SECU account you’d like to activate. Review the options below, and as always, we’re here to answer any questions.
STEP 3:
Open and activate
Open your new deposit account online today, or set up a virtual appointment or in-person appointment to speak with a member advisor. Once that’s complete, you’re a new SECU member!
